Alison took her LLB Law (Hons) degree at the University of Leicester. She is currently studying for an LLM in Commercial Law. Before coming to the Bar Alison worked for three years as a solicitor’s outdoor clerk. She has also worked as a research assistant in the House of Commons for Baroness Tonge and for Stephen Hockman QC. She is retained on the Junior Barrister Scheme at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department and has worked as an advisor at Leicester Law Centre. Alison was called in 2001 and practises in company law, insolvency, commercial and general civil litigation. She has written for the Insolvency Lawyer and Butterworths’ Disqualification Newsletter and was research assistant for Parry’s ‘Transaction Avoidance in Insolvencies’. She is a member of PIBA.
